the best countertop nugget ice maker you can buy. looks nice, connects to your wifi via app so you can make ice anytime you want or set up on a schedule. not quite sonic ice, it’s a little more dense but who cares it’s awesome. gets my drinks really cold fast. you won’t be disappointed

Best sonic ice on the market

Ge Opal ice machines are a good product and easy to repair! Use a good water source as high calcium will shorten the lifespan.

A no go!

This product came dirty. With no instructions..: Would definitely not by used items from them again. After several tries and google, I finally have some ice. Still trying to figure it out

Nugget ice maker

The ice maker works well enough but,because it did not have an owner’s manual, was more difficult to use. Still not sure if we know how to use as efficiently as designed.

Best Hospital Quality Chewable ice, period.

It gives the best hospital quality chewable nugget ice. It is quieter than the version 1 that I just had a warranty replaced/repaired. Version 1 will go to my office. It is a bit pricey. However, since I use it every day, it pays for itself.

You can't live without this ice machine.

This machine is for our office. We snake on the ice instead of junk food. It is the only machine that makes true chewable ice. Our last one was used in the office by 6 people and ran every day for 4 years then it finally broke. Two of our contractors tried our ice and went out to purchase a machine each. Warning, once you have this machine, you will find you can't live without it.

Quietly perfect nugget ice

This ice maker is just so wonderfully quiet (in comparison to the Fridgidaire model we had previously that was noisy even before it started "screaming"). The side take is easy to refill and makes water level monitoring very easy. Our first Opal only lasted about 3 years though. I hope this one lasts longer.

GE Profile ice maker

It really does make “Sonic nugget” ice. And fairly fast. My only complaints are that it is extremely heavy and too tall to fit under kitchen cabinets.
