The solar charging cable included with the power station had mc4 connectors that were backwards: the red wire had a male connector and the black wire had a female connector. But this is the same as config coming from the solar panel, thus black connected to red and red connected to black. On 9/1 when I submitted a ticket and showed photos of that connection they said it was correct. After 3 weeks of multimeter readings, more photos, purchasing a new solar panel and adaptors, more photos, they finally admit their cable was misconfigured. After admitting their product was defective they advised me to continue using the adaptor I had to purchase. No offer of an exchange for another one. Lightweight, great for camping. I used it to power a 25 watt blacklight in the forest to attract insects for photography/enjoyment. The EcoFlow River 2 Max was able to do that for ~10 hours over 4 nights and still had energy for charging phones and other devices. Tested out the solar panels and got it charged up to 100%. No complaints as of yet, time will tell how it holds up. Great deal, will most likely be purchasing from again.
