So if your in the market for a Tiller for around the yard and Garden look no Further YOU JUST FOUND IT ....
I have used this Sun Joe Tiller a few times on rocky clay soil and it seems to work pretty well. I am trying to get the rocks out of the soil and also work in compost to break up the clay. Has lots of power and throws the rocks out so they can be picked up and discarded. Nice little, light weight tiller!! Glad I found it online.
This is a really great tiller. Easy to put the handles on. Not heavy so moving it from place to place is done with ease. When it comes to digging, this machine is quiet, fast and will dig deep. One thing I truly liked was the fact that there was no "Kick back" from the machine. Not a lot of strength was needed because the machine did the work. I'm happy with my purchase.
I had a gas tiller before this one and this electric tiler has a lot more power it is easy to use all you need is a long cord it makes short work out of any job I used it on the depth is easy to set
I bought this small electric SUN JOE TILLER to till up my regular garden. I chose the SUN JOE 12-AMP 16" model due to many favorable reviews. Assembly was simple an instructions were easily followed. It tilled my 12' X 12' garden with ease in 10 to 15 minutes. Since this was a previously tilled (last year) garden it preformed as I expected it would and made getting my garden ready for planting a snap. Price, Performance and Quality made this a proud purchase for years to come.
Borrowed my neighbors Sears unit. Liked it but was surprised by the prices for a new one. then I saw Sun Joe had one for cheap. I couldn't resist. Guess what? It works good and I am using it to break up hard soil for a sidewalk I'm pouring this weekend. Great Price, Durable and am pleased as punch as how good it works
My smaller 2-stroke tiller died. And, At 69, I'm too old to mess with pulling a starter rope. I can't praise this 12 amp electric enough. I can't imagine a situation where this wouldn't have enough power. It also seems to dig deeper than advertised. My kids have borrowed it too and love it. Only thing for you to consider is that the extension cord needs to be heavy enough to handle the load.
