Best I've seen
NECA hit a home run with this one. I try to collect every Creature from the Lagoon model and figure going. Impossible to have them all but at least I've viewed the ones I don't have. So in the 6 to 7 inch articulated figures from all companies, this one is the best, IMO. Truly the best sculpt going. The switch out heads and hands add to the cool factor. Down points: While highly articulated, I don't like the articulations on the chest and waist. The original costumes of the Gillman could not move in such a way and I think that to eliminate them from this figure would have added more integrity to the costume lines. Also, I only collect the 1/10 scale figures for very special characters. I'm into the 1/6th (12 inch) collecting. Had NECA done this guy in that scale, it would be the best figure ever. For the obsessive collector: The body is the Ben Chapman suit used when the Creature is on land and not the Ricou Browning suit used in the underwater scenes. This is absolutely fantastic a great likeness of this great universal monster a must have if you are a fan of universal monsters it is amazing and a real piece of quality it comes with lots of extras like different heads showing the expressions of the creature and claws in different positions it comes highly recommended by me a fan of these great films. NECA figures are the best!
