Nylog Blue is an elastic fluid made from synthetic refrigeration grade compressor oil. Nylog Blue is fully miscible and compatible with all system refrigerants and oils. Threaded connections coated with Nylog will block high pressure leaks by forming a hydraulic seal.
Awesome Sause .don't change / install air condition lines with out it , I have used other products that work but this stays good and easy to change parts with little or no clean up and still no leaks . I wish everything worked as well
RT201B Nylog Gasket Sealant used for my auto air conditioner rebuild.
I just totally rebuilt my AC system on my 1999 Dodge van. I changed the compressor, rear evaporator, filter dryer, two condensers, two expansion valves, and all o rings. I used this product on all the o rings and the compressor gasket. It is like a thick sticky oil and is easy to use. I liked the bottle it came in as it has a twist seal top which is easy to dispense a drop or two at a time. Being thick it sticks to the o ring or seal with no drips, but easily wipes off your hands. So far it seems to be working well and I have not found any leaks. A little pricey, but you don't want to have to redo a bad seal. So I think this might be the best product for sealing AC o rings and gaskets. I would recommend it for this kind of work.
This is the stuff I find often used by HVAC technicians for applying to threads on refrigeration lines/fittings. It appears the "blue" stuff never fully hardens so cna handle expansion and contraction as well as vibration. Of course there are limits but it seems to be relied upon in critical applications.
This stuff is great. After watching a few videos on installing copper cooling lines I purchased Nylog. Worked perfect to insure a proper seal and all my flared connections. Don’t install your copper lines without it.
I had a leak around the O-rings on my son's car and this was the perfect fix!!!! I applied this sealant to a new set of O-rings which took care of the issue.
so far I don't know time will tell I have used it on 2 systems so far so good
so far so good I don't like flairs in refrigeration work, but mini splits is all they have is flairs, so I am hoping this will work to inhibit the leaks ??
This stuff works great . Just coat the end of the fitting with one dab behind the flare and no more leak worries ! Should be in every mini-split techs toolbox .
