awesome router with a lot of power when you need it, I purchased this since my older bosch router has been in the family about 22 years with no problem's! hope this one's the same, love the ability to adjust depth while mounted on my table!
This is a great value for this router. Came with both 1/4 & 1/2 inch collets. Operation of this router is smooth . Comes with above table adjustment wrench so it’s a great option for using in router table. Trigger on/off switch is great . Has a work light .Came in perfect condition no sing of being reconditioned.
Looks and operates like a new machine. I've run it for hours at a time using a 2" surfacing bit on oak. It runs cool and quietly, no vibration or 'warning' smells. I recommend this router, and I also can recommend the certified refurbished option. The variable speed is a nice feature, as is the built in light. Depth adjustment is accurate and fairly easy out of the box. I made it easier with a quick extension handle for the adjusting knob made out of long 5/16" bolt. My only complaint would be that an extension handle should come with it. It did come with 1/2" and 1/4" collets and wrenches. Yep. I'm happy with this purchase.
Best router I've used and I've tried a lot of brands
This is a great router. I've tried all the major brands and this Bosch runs the smoothest. I thought it was even better than the Festool I purchased. Great value being reconditioned. It seems the bearings are better on reconditioned units versus the new units. Definite buy.
Haven’t used it yet but looks like what I wanted for my router table. Should be fine. My survey answers are going by Bosch overall reputation prior to working the router once my table is set up and I’m doing my projects. I’ll use it for art frames and making new window frames for shop.
Tool looks like new, got it mounted in my new router table and now just need to wait for my new bits with the correct shank size and then be ready to go!
