The Real Deal
First thing I had to cut was 5" Steel Channel. Went through it like Butter. Motor didn't lag or pull too many amps to pop the Breaker. It just did its job and asked for more. The saw is easy to use and easy to put away and carry. Have used it a few more times since then and have no complaints. Better than the Rigid and DeWalt Chop saws in my opinion. Good value tool
This tool is great for the price. Wonderful for the hobbyist or small shop. It is definitely not industrial quality! If you are looking for a saw for constant and heavy use , you need a much better one than this. Probably would have to pay 4 times as much. Strong heavy duty motor, 45"s left and right.
Purchased this saw to cut 45 degree angles in 2'' x 2'' x 1/4'' angle iron. It did with ease and were perfect. A sliding socket wrench would have been better than the flat wrench supplied with the saw. Heavy and heavy duty
The Milwaukee chop saw is a big heavy chop saw. Perfect for cutting thick metals. It stays where you put it. It is best to be put on a table and left there as it is heavy. Did I say it was heavy? Built like a brick outhouse. Motor does not bog down. Built better than the ones offered at the local building supply companies. If you are looking to cut metal quickly then this is the one.
