Good quality and features
Good quality and features however make sure to read the terms carefully as it can be evil. They like collecting and selling information via your app and filtering your router/modem so make sure to isolate the cams internet access. If you buy their subscription they can commercialize your privacy based on their EULA. I missed the 39 for 4 deal but 65 is still decent for the family pack. These look like refurbished units with new accessories compared to the standalone ones but still the value is pretty good. No Yi sticker. FPS is higher than most at this price point which outputs 15-24fps compared to cheaper chips at 8-18fps. I have 1GBps internet to measure. They have stealthy IR and performs well, TF slot {64gbmax?), Reduced 6 second preview ( other brands give me 45s}, motion detection (newer is better in proper detection), crying detection, flip 180 option, 2 way speaking (mic is better sounding in the new ones but not as loud), light blink on/off, No- custom siren or alarms, phone alerts, individual naming & notifications. Cloud subscription is locked to their servers only but optional to operate. They have a optional police service call also. However this is not a private cloud service according to their terms(2017). TF microsSD operation is not time tagged(according to a user) so if a crime is reported this key evidence is hard to gather. I have some operating close to a full year. Indoor cams are moisture sensitive but perform okay outside too(away from the rain). They do better in slightly cool climates. I don't recommend this product at all. It disconnected from the wifi all the time. When I go to reconnect it ,it says," wifi error!" So , I have to reset it and it will not connect! Oh but wait I had one connected in my garge and it worked fine,up until a couple of days ago! Keep in mind I only have one wifi password!!! Great camera, easy to hack and upgrade
Amazing product, great quality video (both daytime and IR). My box came with three y20 and one y29. Lots of firmware hacks are out there (see GitHub) - it was easy to flash it over and now I've taken off the manufacturer's proprietary cloud and put them on my private, secure video server.
