Taco Zone Valve Power Head

This Power Head was a direct replacement for an original unit that was installed when my house was built in 1982. I had no heat in one third of my house. I received the power head, took 10 minutes to remove the defective unit and install the new one and had heat again. This is the first zone valve power head I've replaced. I have a 3-zone heating system. So I'd say that one power head failure in 34 years says a lot for the quality of this product, considering my installation is in New England and it gets plenty of use.

Great zone valve

Brand new zone valve power heads for great price. Probably the most common zone valve used on hot water heat! Only part of valve that goes bad, the valve itself never fails.First one replaced at home since'96.

I found this item at a great price

Most place have this valve way over priced. If you can take a little time as I did you can find one New for a third of suggested retail. It is easy to replace only takes about five minutes. Just don't forget to label the wires so you get them back on the right screws. Don't trust your memory, label them.

An Established Product

I bought this as a spare for our twelve-zone heating system.One unit failed a few years ago over twenty heating seasons. Just to have a replacement on hand, I bought this unit. The TACO seems to be in use all over and well established. But I cannot comment about this at this point as explained above. The seller did a good job in filling the order although shipment was delayed, most likely due to the severe winter weather we had in 20017/18.

Quick and easy

Arrived quickly. Replacement took 1 minute -- disconnect three wires, twist old one off, twist new one on, reconnect the three wires. Just remember which wires! These seem to last about 5 years, so I buy the replacements ahead of time.

Good Price

Have not used it but every time one burns out I buy a spare. Hope it works fine. Shipping was fast and a low price for a new power head.

A Good Value

Am familiar with these Taco Power Heads. Unfortunately, they do have a limited life, and so I need to keep a supply of replacements. In fact, I just had to replace an older unit with one of these. I got 11 years out the old unit, so I hope to receive the same from the replacement,.

Real good choice

as advertised, Box had been opened and the contact bullet was not in it's slot , has to realign it but it has been working fine and no complaints here. Very happy!
