This headphones are really confortable and lightweight for their apparent size. The sound is really good, great mids. The vocals are stunning and clear. The earpads may get a little bit dirty with dust and specs, but nothing that can´t be cleaned. GO FOR THESE HEADPHONES !
Too much mid bass... If you are looking for an open back with good Soundstage, stay away.
I found enjoyment in the mids through the my modi multibit, but i had to eq the bass down. It gave me a headache. If you want to get a detailed Open back with decent Soundstage try the 6xx or the 7xx which is known for its Soundstage. Headphone is also quite heavy in your head
Awesome headphones, beware Philips has lazy Quality Control
The Philips X2HR Fidelio are awesome headphones for there price point, they have excellent sound quality, very smooth sounding and able to highlight very small details in songs. The headphone pads are very soft and comfortable. The only downside to these headphones are that Philips seems to have bad Quality control for headphones, as mine came with a slight imbalance of sound where the left side is just slightly lower volume then the right, having looked around this seems to be somewhat common but not a deal breaker as it can be fixed with an equalizer.
Sounds great. Has a wide soundstage and great bass for open headphones. It has a detachable cable and can be turned into a headset using vmoda boom pro mic. It's great for gaming or listening to music/movies.
