Had it for about 3 weeks now and caught plenty of fish. I have to say it has a really smooth casting and reeling is extremely smooth I do recommend using a braided line on this reel. This reel is sold for a great price and I would definitely purchase another one great shimano product.
Multi-bearing reel with Quickfire trigger, allowing for fast and accurate casts. For the cost, one of the best in the whole line of Shimano fishing reels. The only drawback may occur if the reel is used extensively (went on just over 100 casting trips this past season): the trigger bail may begin to falter. If this happens, one may have to manually flip the bail and avoid the use of the trigger. I have found keeping the reel well-oiled during the season is very helpful. This Quickfire trigger is also great for use by a youngster first learning how to cast.
Price is good but does not have instant antireverse. Spool rolls back so the worthless bale lever is always at the top. The biggest irritant is after casting, the bale can at times be very hard engage by the reel handle. This is common on less expensive reels but I thought Shimano would not allow this on their brand.
I love the way this reel always goes back to casting position. At the end of the day you can get more casts in than other reels. It may not be the same quality as higher priced reels, but for the price you can't beat it.
